Who else has this color? I have a '98 with this color and it seems like they only had it in 97 and 98.

The dealer told me this was a "rare" color but I find that extremely hard to believe. Thoughts?

I have it on my 97 Z24 and I have never seen another one with the same color.

It is a rare color. My friend has a 97 Z24 that color. Has the blue interior as well. I see them on the roads, but not like you do some of the other colors. There is another color that is more rare. It is a aqua blue.

Come and visit me in Vancouver.. they're everywhere. Most of them base model coupes with the blue interior... but none in very good shape.

yeah they only used it for a year or two....so its "rare" by J standards

It seems what is considered 'rare' in one area can dramatically differ from one area to the next... for example, I have seen SOOOO many Manta Green Metallic 95-99 Cavys and Fires in Vancouver... hell, I own one! But I very rarely see any 95-99 silver Sunfires...

I've never seen any of the black-roofed 95 or 96 Sunfire GT's in person.. only a few in pictures online.

I saw a blue 95 2.3 with the black roof in the junkyard...the front bumper is now on my car haha.

One of the fenders I picked up out of a junkyard for my 99 Sunfire was Opal Blue.

Yeah things differ from place to place. I've seen a couple of the black-roofed GTs and I've seen a lot of the verts with white interiors, but I have never seen any of those rare red/blue interiors in person.

I actually have a 1996 Royal Blue Sunfire GT with the black roof. I have only seen 3 with this color blue and mine being the only one with the black roof. I have been told that the black roof means that the car was ordered specifically by someone and they wanted the automatic so they put the black roof so on the assembly line they knew to put the automatic and not the manual transmission in it. Not sure how true that is but, If any one is near Cleveland, Ohio I am looking to sell it.

I have a '97 Z24 in this color, and I love it. I have seen a handful of other Cav's around here in the same color, but only one other was a Z24.

I want this interior which is stupid rare, and yes it is stock. there is also a red/orange interior, and all white one.
