Alternator or BCM problem ? Gauges drop

OK here is the problem, I can start the car and it runs fine but when i turn on any thing that draws a lot of amps the gauges drop to 0 and i get P1626 and U1040, theft light comes on and check gauges comes on. I have hooked up a meter and took readings at the battery and they stay above 14.00 with lights or a/c and is 14.2 with nothing on. If i turn on the lights and a/c then hit brakes the readings go down below 13.3 and the car has died a few times when the reading keep dropping. I have a new battery , I think it might be an alternator problem or maybe BCM, but I want some other input. Oh i have noticed when gauges drop out if i give it gas they go back to normal. One other thing if I turn blinkers on the lights will dim with them and have noticed the ac/heat blower will drop out if other power acc. are on. Any help would be appreciated ....... 2000 sunfire with 2.2

Yes that's what I am thinking to. I have read a few posts on here describing pretty much the same thing but none have posted back saying what fixed the problem. I just want to explore all my options before I buy the alt. Thanks for your opinion.

take your alt off and take it down to autozone or someplace and have them test it just to be sure.
