Compressor bearings

Hey, i have a 2004 cavy 2.2 eco 4 speed auto approximately 107k on it and i have a question is it normal for the compressor bearings to go out. When the compressor is running and i accelerate like from a red light i hear this whining/Mini roar of sorts wasn't sure if my compressor bearings were on their way out or maybe even bad or if it's supposed to make that kind of noise. I thought i read somewhere before where some of the J's do have noisy ac compressors but maybe not.

If it is noisy, it will only get worse. Need to replace it(compressor), disconnect the wire to the clutch, or replace it with an A/C delete pulley.

Not noisy at idle, quiet at idle and only noisy on acceleration maybe it's supposed to be that way once i get up to normal road speed quiet only on accleration.

If you have had problems with the a/c system holding refrigerant, and have been adding freon, it could be one of 2 things, either it has too much freon in it or not enough oil in it because of it leaking out. most people dont realize that the a/c system has oil in it, which lubricates the compressor . when the gas leaks out it takes the oil with it. Thats why a sure sign of a leaks is a really oily spot. Any way most people only add freon to the systems and no oil, to sdo that one time is ok, more than one recharge then your starving the compressor of oil.
It also could be just worn out. they do make a little noise but you shouldnt be able to hear it with the windows up.
