electrical problems

yesterday i pulled all my carpet out of the car. i guess i pulled something loose under the dash but can't find it. i have a 2002 cavalier ls sport with the 2.2 ecotec. the problem is that my headlights, fog lights, and front turn signals don't work now. i've checked all the connections under the dash and they seem fine and none of my fuses are blown. any information that can be given would be very much appreciated.

look again, a connection that would involve all those would be around the left ( drivers) side of the dash

Maybe double check the fuses. It sounds like maybe a common ground wire. Look closely.

I dont think its carped related. check the ground under the battery on the inside of the frame rail. often it becomes corroded from battery acid leaks. that is the common ground for all of the items that you mentioned.

yeah that ground splice pack is a piece of crap, mine screwed up too. do yourself a favor and cut the whole thing off and put a couple of ring terminals on .
