There are no aftermarket cranks for this motor. The stock crank has proven reliable up to 350 HP + on a few boosted motors.Unlike most V design motors, which have a main bearing saddle between each pair of rod throws, you have a main bearing saddle between each rod throw. That's twice the support on the crank.

The rods are a one-shot-forging, which are pretty decent. The rods will handle mild boost or the stock rev limit N/A. If you were to turn upto 7000-7200 rpm momentarily, some moderate work to the stock rods and they'll be fine. Anything more than that, then go with the Eagle Rods or custom forgings.

Stock or stock replacement pistons are good to the stock rpm limits and or mild boost, anything more get a set of forged pistons.

and by the wording of the op, you can not go buy a set of pistons for a sbc, and use them. the rockers will work, but nothing internal.

what are you planning on doing with the motor? that might help someone give you more solid advice, but i agree with most everything mad jack said above.

no crank....but the crank in the ln2 is rather stout, and shoud handle your nitrous fine. You need to research what you want to do more than just "i wanna cram nO2 down her throat"

The amount of nitrous you can run without any fuel mods safely is 0

I am not a bottle guy, but I know you need to make sure you do it right...or pay the price.

I would not consider 30-50 shot a "big" shot at all, and you can probably run them with little mods, on the stock fuel pump. But i doubt that will give you the results you are looking for. I would suggest you hit up the nitrous forums, as they will be able to give you some more specfiics on thier set ups, and what works good for them, and what thier results are.

i know that 50 is not a big hit i was asking what can be done on stock set up....im hoping for 150 shot with some work....i dont know im into boost also but its cheaper to spray and pray.........id love to have a 15 psi 2200.....$$$$$$$ but is worth it.....

my reasoning was once you buy the turbo kit....you bought it. Nitrous you need to fill all the time, if you plan on using large amounts, it is more cost effective to go turbo.

You are going to need a lot of upgrading to run a 150 shot.

ware is the oil baffle?????.....i thought i read that i take the baffle out and then i grind or cut the breather on the inside of the valve cover ...?????......if you go to howell the link dosent work.....can anyone give me a pic of what i am to do??????????????????please ...?????..thanx

The oil baffles are the inside parts of the breather and PCV valve assemblies, the breather and PCV valves are the outside parts. The oil baffles keeps the oil from being sucked into the PCV valve and out the breather.
