hey need some one to help me??????please can anybody tell me how to id. pistn and rods for this car????is it like the roller rockers and you can take a set for the 350 small block...narrow bodied self aligning 1.6 ratio 3/8" stud.....so on and so on..lol ...is it like this or am i stuck with madfor 2200 parts..??????...please help.....also if you know about the eagle crank and how to id. it or how to find one for it..?????thank
and by the wording of the op, you can not go buy a set of pistons for a sbc, and use them. the rockers will work, but nothing internal.
what are you planning on doing with the motor? that might help someone give you more solid advice, but i agree with most everything mad jack said above.
im planing on force feeding her or a strong shot ov nitrous........do you know how mutcn n20 the 2200 can take b4 you have to start messing with the fuel and what spark plugs at what shot??????????id like to go the nitrous rout but what hase to be done for the 2200 to take a hard hit and can it handle a 30 or 50 shot on stock fuel pump and intenals??????????i thought iv sean eagle cranks and piston for this car but i cant find them.....i no madjack is rite i just thought iv sean them......
no crank....but the crank in the ln2 is rather stout, and shoud handle your nitrous fine. You need to research what you want to do more than just "i wanna cram nO2 down her throat"
The amount of nitrous you can run without any fuel mods safely is 0
I am not a bottle guy, but I know you need to make sure you do it right...or pay the price.
I would not consider 30-50 shot a "big" shot at all, and you can probably run them with little mods, on the stock fuel pump. But i doubt that will give you the results you are looking for. I would suggest you hit up the nitrous forums, as they will be able to give you some more specfiics on thier set ups, and what works good for them, and what thier results are.
i know that 50 is not a big hit i was asking what can be done on stock set up....im hoping for 150 shot with some work....i dont know im into boost also but its cheaper to spray and pray.........id love to have a 15 psi 2200.....$$$$$$$ but is worth it.....
my reasoning was once you buy the turbo kit....you bought it. Nitrous you need to fill all the time, if you plan on using large amounts, it is more cost effective to go turbo.
You are going to need a lot of upgrading to run a 150 shot.
hey when you put roller rockers on the 2200 is it the breather on the valve cover that you shave a little????????????
ware is the oil baffle?????.....i thought i read that i take the baffle out and then i grind or cut the breather on the inside of the valve cover ...?????......if you go to howell the link dosent work.....can anyone give me a pic of what i am to do??????????????????please ...?????..thanx
