What'd you do to your J today....
Sunday, March 30, 2008 11:38 AM
Ive been on a few other forums for other cars Ive owned in the past. And we always had threads like this, which I thought was fun.

Anyhow, post up what you did to your car today (or whatever day is a today day) Include pics if you want...

Today I changed my valve cover gasket. The old was was cracked in half in numerous places. I cleaned up my engine bay a little bit, just took a rag and wiped down a bunch of dirty spots cuz I didn't have any degreaser. I also fixed the gap in my driver headlight. Now it actually points in the right direction and I can see the road!!! I didn't have my camera to take any pics, but I was planning on doing a shoot in the next few days when it gets a bit nicer out!

I broke my shift linkage an hour away from home. Just one more problem that the car gives me. Messed up. First time I beat on it something breaks. I run 10psi on a stock neon with high miles and never had any problems. Everyone tells me "buy a chevy" but I think I learned my leason. and another thing. My other stock 5 speed neon smoked my z24. I thought that was messed up also.

Made it smell like french fries when I went to get lunch for everyone during work. Other than that it sat, and sits in parking lots all day...

My project car is happy in a climate controlled shop 120 miles away.

I commuted to work and back, along with a shorter distance lunch break. I topped up the coolant before leaving in the morning, which was down nearly a quart. I checked the oil once she was warmed up, which still seems to have avoided mixing with the coolant so far. Mid morning, I took a picture under the hood for an audio/electronics thread.
