I have a 95 2.3L. Im swaping it for a 2.4L i need to know what i need to change. im not running any A/C.

IMO, the 2.3 > the 2.4.

i have a 95 ohv and i wanna a different engine n my car and i would like to know what all i need to do a nother engine swap that a basic bolt up... thanks

Actually, that engine is still quicker than the 2.4 (10 more HP, and higher rev's). When I had my 95 Z, I dusted my fair share of 96+ Z's and GT's.

Besides, if you already have a 2.3LO, upgrade it to an HO, not a 2.4

The 95 2.3 had the same HP and less TQ than the 2.4 tho.

keep the 2.3. obdI FTW! bolt on some HO goodies and be done with it

I need to find the sources again, but I've read more than once that the 2.3 was 160hp, not 150hp.
My experience, albeit the "butt-dyno" method, tends to agree.

if your car is a manual then forget about the 2.4..find a 2.3 HO from 89-94 and youll be able to bolt in 30 some odd more hp power..uses same mounts,same sensors,same wires,same tranny...and its an auto then start thinking about getting some parts off the HO to upgrade..youll be alot happier with your 2.3 than the twin cam..all of us that have done this will agree
