ecotec? if so, yes it would fit physically but would require alot of work wiring wise

I doubt it matters if its an eco or not, I think the intakes were different on the 2200 as well, so if its the OHV engine, you will probly have to deal with swapping a fair bit of crap over to make it work. if its the eco... More work yet, wiring, as well as mounts etc.

I'd rather drive an A than push a J...

If it's anything like the 3.4 V6 in the F-body the starter is on the opposite side too.
