Are the cam covers from the 2.2 and 2.0 ecotecs interchangeable? Im meaning a direct swap, no mods and/or changes. im pretty sure they will be on the head side, its the coil pack im wondering about, Im not sure of the bolt holes are in the same place on both covers.

they have the same bolt pattern(thats the only likeness)...........but the coil pack wont fit........
the 2.0's have 2 cam driven provisions.....so on a 2.2 there would be a massive oil leak.
also a 2.4 wont fit and neither will the newer 2.2 on 2007MY cobalts
thats right, i forgot all about the other models havinh VVT. oh well, stuck with the stocker then.
