last night i was pulled over for loud exhuast and consented to a search during the search the officer tried ripping my door panels off.... now my drivers door wont lock with the remote keyless entry when i try and turn my headlights on it makes a noise like the doors locking from the door...... also wipers wont work. drls still work no headlights no brights, checked all fuses under hood and in dash, also checked relays anyone got any idea its an 02 ls sport

I think that you should try taking up a complaint with the police department on that one. I mean, if he pulled you over at night it would be reasonable to assume that your headlights were working if he didn't give you a ticket for it. Honestly, a loud exhaust doesn't give him reasonable cause to search the car.

depends. the loud exhaust is a reason to pull him over and if the officer thinks anything suspicous during the stop, he has the right to ask to search the vehicle. i do agree you should take it up with the department. it sounds to me like something is just grouding out.

well i dont know the whole story but there has to be something else to the story. ive been pulled over plenty of times and never had a cop want to search my car.
the excuse the lt gave me for the search was retarded...... his exact words when i filed the compliant were the officers suspected due to the volume of aftermarket acc. including tint and wheels that i was dealing drugs or using drugs.... then i told them to @!#$ off cause i drive a cavalier not caddilac....i just went ahead and called my attorney hes setting up a meeting with the officers involved his lt and my attorney and myself..... but on another note any idea on my @!#$ not working

Future tip: Don't tell a cop to f&*^ off, for any reason
that was after i was pulled over and they told me they werent payin for @!#$...... anyways on a side note everything is working now so i guess ill figure it when they stop working again

try the ground under the battery, i dont think the wipers and headlights are related to the cop.
Those two Items are grounded under the battery tray, I know cause mine does the same thing, If I tug on the wires a little it works for a couple of days. Im too lazy to fix it.

^ exactly. check to make sure the headlight harness is grounded properly under the battery tray and making a good connection. the ground for the wipers runs with it as well.
