z24 Hesitant ans Stalls in Cold
Saturday, December 08, 2007 8:50 PM
I have a '98 z24 that has a very interesting issue. It's below zero, so I let my car get time to warm up before driving. After about twenty minutes into driving, and the car is warm, the engine gets very hesitant, and even stalls at stop lights. I might be sitting at a light, and it idles normal, then just dies, or I start to give it gas, and it just dies. The car starts right back up with no issue. Eventually I'll get a check engine light and ets off light, and then the ets off light will go out. This problem is intermittent as well, as my car could be sitting after I have driven it, and then I drive again and it acts like nothing happened. Has anyone else encountered this???

you'll get more help in the maint. forum. but when is the last time the car had a tune-up?You need to check the plugs, coil housing for cracks, boots, fuel system, also try resetting the computer.
