Hey guys! probably a stupid question; can you use a supercharger off a 3800 Riviera on the 2.4?

What's with the funny face joe? I guess you've never seen 1997ztwo4 car before.
Yes Jon you can put on a supercharger off a 3800 onto a 2.4........it will take work but it's been done before awhile back.....
Here's the proof for the fun face

nope I didnt. still didnt , pictures wont load. Must be an old thread.
Those are bearing eaters any way. That would be my last choice. I have yet to be impressed with a 3800 sc. If you didnt see the emblem or open the hood you would just think it was a 3800. Jonathan go with a turbo if you want to spend some cash and be happy when your done. No one wants to spend lots of cash on 3-5 hp gain.

You have to wait for them to load grasshopper it might take awhile they were just posted over the weekend so they aren't even close to being old.
I never knew that a s/c made only 3-5 hp that's a new one to me.....last time i checked the ecotec s/c makes over 60hp and the 2.4 makes close to that with nothing else done to them and the fact that the 3800 s/c is much larger than ours. Turbos are good in all if they are done right along with tuned properly.....but if you want a car that much more reliable for d/d i'd pick a s/c over a turbo anyday.
I'll be going s/c once i'm done with school......and i'll be just happy making over 200hp....that's enough for the common person.
