First off, i have already searched... but i keep finding people asking the same question and people responding with 'eco eco eco eco!!....' I found a few threads with possibly useful info, but im not sure what the exact years they were dealing with or how different they are. im toying with the idea of swapping the 2200 out of my 99 with a 2.4L from a 97 grand am.

What will i need? how difficult will this be? if i go through with it, i'd get the whole car then do the swap and just junk the car.
If there is a thread that deals with the same years and i just didnt get that far, feel free to post the link!

i thought i read the the mounts are the same? perhaps that is not true for these years? i was thinking that 95-99 would be the same cuz i know 2000 things changed..
