this may be a stupid question but is it possible to use the ecu from a 2200 engine with a 2.4 z motor?????

Yes, but only if its the large type one in the fender, not the small one in the engine bay, and only if it is reprogrammed with the 2.4 firmware.

Its the programming that needs to be done by GM or somebody with HPT so that it will run right.
