forward hood

while i have my car apart, ideas are coming, has anyone done a kit for a forward opening hood, my lesabre T-type opens like that and it always gets looks, if there are no kits i guess i will have to get creative with existing cars.
i know the datsun 280zx opened forward im sure plenty of other forgin cars did too. it will be interesting to try anyhow.

DoubleZed did it on his 3.4DOHC vert, I believe. I've seen it on another car as well.

I would be inclined to use some kind of trunk arms, but getting them to fit right would be tricky, so you just have to get a little creative with what to use.

the buick lesabre one has alot of pontential, it can be easy to change how wide it is, if you can weld.
right now it is my first choice, ti pulls forward and will get the hood out over the bumper

That and a few older buicks as well. A bunch of people have done this to their cars on BCJbody, it looks pretty good.

this guy used lesabre parts to do his reatta. On page 3
looks like he mainly used the locking hardware towards the cowl, and maybe some forward parts.

i have a 89 t-type to use as an example to fab up the cav
