I just came across this 2001 Cavalier (Z22 - woohoo!
)
Anyway, it has 190 000km's on it, looks clean, 5spd, with winter tires and rims. Lady wants $2500. I'd offer at least $500 lower...
Is 190 000 km's too high? I don't know too much about the J-body's. More into the G's, but I need something more fuel efficient.
Or would I be better off in getting a 97 or 98 Z24?
Any advice would be helpful. Thanks!
One letter Z but for the price offer 2000 and swap. Eco or 2.4 heart in witht the apropreate tranny. 01 has a getrag witch is better than the pre 2000 izuzu
Well, I am looking at another actually.
2000 with the 2.2, 5 spd for $1950 - 160 000 kms.
I think Im going to go with this one instead. If it falls through, Ill go with the 01 and stick in a 2.4 when the current dies.
Go for it man, That's not a bad price either, I payed $2500 for my 2000 Sunfire with 230,000km's last year. The engines are great, and if taken care of they will last forever. A buddy has one with 382,xxxkm's on her, still daily driven.
Oh, and if the engine dies, get an ecotec. Much better than the older 2.4 IMO.
my dad's 2200SFI has 45x,xxx KMs on her. . my 2.2 non-eco has just over 230,xxx on it, and I want it to die so i can get something different. .
