Theft light

I've a 96 Z24 and have a quick question. Under normal situation, when you turn to key on, all lights on the dash should be turn on for a while and then goes off. Will the theft light stay on all the time?

My car just crank and won't start for quite a while. I replaced a lots of stuff still no luck. When I try to start it, it'll fire up for 2 second then die. After that, it'll just crank but won't start. After a couple crank, the plug flooded with gas. Some believe that's the PASSlock problem. But the theft light never flash, it'll just stays on all the time. So should the theft light stays on after key on, or it should goes off?

Also, I found two thing underneath the steering colume. I take some pics to show them. I know the one by passenager side is starter kill. But the other one by the driver side, I've no idea what's that. A friend said it might be some kinda of alert that comes from the dealer. Anyone have idea what's that?

Thanx alot.

Here's the pic:

The instructions for re-programming the theft system is in the very first post of the interior FAQ. Follow them EXACTLY.

Whatever it is... it's an aftermarket part. Button is probably some sort of valet switch, but I don't know what kind of alarm you have.
