I was just wondering what I could do to get my exhaust from making that popping noise when I am off the gas? I have put on an intake and cat-back but either way that shouldn't be happening. Especially on an 05 fire.
A resonator on the exhaust will help out with that a little
My car does that, but I've got a full exaust. The sound your hearing is air rushing back up into your exaust when you let off the gas. The only way to stop it is to have a more muffled exaust (or more restrictive), a resonator or chambered muffler would probably do the trick. It doesn't have anything to do with how old your cars is and is normal when putting more open exausts on cars.

Yes it should. The cat-back is not a "tuned" exhaust. So you're gonna hear every little pop and cackle that the system makes.
