Im doing an ecotec swap in my 97 cavalier.I have fuel going up to the front of the motor but the car just cranks and cranks.I tried putting some fuel in the throttle bodie and it started up.So it must be the pass lock.How do i reprogram the passlock?Is it ok that i am using my 97 key and ignition with the 03 computer?
Andrew, where is the 3wire plug from the ignition switch going to??
did you change to the 2000+ wiring and bcm??
my last swap, I changed the ignition assembly to make it easier to wire.
Just did what it said in the faq were you turn the key on and off 3 times and now its running great.Will post pictures with in the next couple days.
