i replaced the Crank sensor in my 98 2.2 and when i did the metal cap on the old sensor got stuck in the motor and when i went to install the new one i didn't notice.
so a long story short now i have 2 metal caps stuck inside the crank sensor port and i cannot get them out for the life of me!
i was going to get a drill bit that is slightly smaller then the hole and drill into it so i can just pull out the tin caps that are lodged in my motor.
ive tried lots of other things like punching a hole in it and pulling on it with pliers, but no luck its still stuck.
Any ideas?

Crank sensors are really easy to break.
Unfortunately, now it's time to pull the oil pan and get that piece out.
so what your saying is just push the metal all the way through the hole and then just pull the pan?
can the pan be pulled without jacking up the motor?

As far as I know you dont have to jack the motor itself to pull the pan seeing as the pan offers no support to the block from the frame, so you should be alright....
drive it on ramps and use a decent hight jack to get it hight if needed.
