hi i'm new here and i searched for an answer first before i posted but couldnt find one. I'm wondering if a quad4 from a 92 berreta gtz will fit into my98 cav with a 2.2 and five speed? And if so what would i need to take from the donor car before I junk it? Any help or info offered would be greatly appreciated.

that would be one hell of a monster... and im not too sure that would be a good thing. as far as the electronics and ecu, i cant really help you there. you'd probably have to find a 98 ecu for a ld9, if that would work. and, you would need a new trans, because i dont think the gtz of that year would fit in a j. i know someone knows better than me, but thats my best understanding of the situation.

yes the quad4 from the gtz will fit in your J..so will the transmission..make sure first that the tranny has TWO mounts and not just one..if it only has one you dont want it..as far as wiring try to get a 1995 manual Z or GT jbody pcm and engine bay harness ..that would be the best wiring setup to match with your car
