Well I'm in the process of swapping my 2.2 to an Ecotec motor and I have a few questions that I am hoping you guys that have done it can help me out with. The more I get into it the more questions I will have. Please don't tell me to search either, because I've done so already. Thanks in advance.
My first question is with the brakes. ..
I have read that I do not need to swap out or run new brake lines but I currently have brakes with ABS and my 04 does NOT have ABS. When looking at pictures you can see that the brake lines mount differently on the different brake master cylinders. Since I am swapping from ABS to Non ABS does this mean I must run all new lines, or can I still use my current ones?

Trust me I will have much more to come within the next few days...

Yes you can keep your factory brake lines. You will probably have to bend them a little to make them fit correctly.

the 04 has ABS, its just the newer version. Its the same as my 01. I wouldnt touch any of the brakes unless you have a space issue. Then If you use the new abs module on the older cav then you may or may not have a computer mismatch issue because the ABS module is actually a computer and its programmed for the 04.

No, the 04 pictured there doesn't have ABS. The ABS module isn't attached to the brake lines where it should be... it's just a block, I'll bet it reads "Nissin" on it too
That clearly doesn't have ABS.
Yes the 04 deff does not have ABS like lenko said. The swap is completed and I was actually able to use my old brake master cynlinder with it.
