Alright, i was just curious if anyone has had a jack hammer type sound when stopped at idle.
I have an '03 Eco base Cav with an auto i have rk sport's lower engine mount and the upper is still stock. other wise thats it under the hood ( i doubt its the intake).
This sound just started to occur awhile ago and it has recently gotten annoying. Is it just the mount?
It doesn't sound like anything internal just something vibrating. Any suggestions on what it might be?
BTW, yes i did do a search and i only get the post for the dash
Sounds like its just the mount, Does it become more or less prevalent with the A/C going?

more prevalent, yeah i guess you're right probably just the mount, hey i noticed you got the upper mount, anything more then the bottom (in terms of vibrations)?
I had the upper lower first and vibrations werent that bad, But the top one made things worse.

the thing vibrates enough noooooooooo! lol oh well
you get used to it and you'll know where to shift to avoid the vibes.

yeah... its an auto so i guess its just let off the gas and let it kick down into the next gear thanks for all the help dude
got the same problem..started after i put my lower mount on my new 04. thats my guess is the lower mount cause that damn thing is STIFF!!!
