ok... i am just wondering if my car (98 z24) came with ever option you could get in a cavalier for that year.
my car has:
pw/pl
power sunroof
power mirrors
rear defrost
cruise control
automatic transmission
remote keyless entry
ABS
z24 standard package (16 aluminum rims, stock ground effects package, rear spolier w/ 3rd brake light, fog lights)
so yeah, does it have them all? or are there some more that others came with that mine doesnt have? theres only one i aware of, which is the trunk release cable... mine didnt come with it.
my goal with this car is too add options to it, i want to add such options as:
02+ stock trunk release button under dash
cobalt LS black leather heated bucket seats (idk if both are power, but if not...just the driver)
toyota cavalier trunk carpet
toyota cavalier power folding mirrors
toyota cavalier fuel door and door release cable
toyota cavalier leather wrapped steering wheel with the chevy air bag
are there any more you guys can think of that would be posible to add?

what about digital odometer? not sure what those came with, but my 97 has an analog odometer

my z had "sport mirrors" listed as an option. all it was were the break-away mirrors if you hit something. i thought those came on all 95+Js though?

nope, no digi. odometer, yup my remote has the trunk release as well.

i know the 00-02 cavs had the delco rear amped speakers
The Digital odometer was a shot in the dark in 98 some cars had it some didn't, the engine block heater was an option linewide wasn;t it meaning not just in 98. It was optional all the way through 05 if i remember right ,maybe the cars sold in canada were an exception.

My 2001 Z24 had the nice sound system (so they say 6 speaker), yeah not really 6 speakers. It has 4 speakers, but the fronts have tweaters built in that made 6 speakers.

I have the 8 speaker Monsoon system in mine but was there a year(s) that the Monsoon system came with controls in the streering wheel for the radio? You may want that?

i know my sunfire has the steering wheel mounted radio controls...but again i thought that was a sunfire option only.
i know my speakers have been replaced and there is no amp in the trunk, but theres a good chance those were taken out of my fire. i dont suppose theres any way to tell what options came with the car is there?

I have the 6 speakers in my fire for the people who have the monsoon system with 8 speakers where are the other 2 speakers in the car? can some one please show me some pics?

as far as i know (ive asked a bunch of stereo shops) you can put the sunfire radio controls in a cavi and get them to work... well maybe u can, but nobody around here is even willing to try and i wouldnt even know where to begin safe for yanking the entire harness out and using a sunfire one.
