hesitates on take off

after car warms up to operating temp, it hesitates on take off. it does not do it all the time, but sometimes it hesitates bad enough that it just dies. it also stalls on stopping, sometimes. if i put it in neutral at stoplight, then shift into gear to take off, it does not hesitate. got an dtc for rich on one bank, but the cel went out before i got home. have replaced plugs, coils, and fuel filter. fuel pressure at 41 psi at idle. drops a pound or two when throttle opened. fuel pressure regulator appears to work fine. when disconnected, pressure is 50. when vacuum added, pressure drops accordingly, all the way down to 26, before engine stalled. am pulling my hair out over this. please help.

Have you checked your throttle position sensor?

Coil housing. If you have never changed it , now would be a good time.

This is the plastic housing that holds the coils and routs the spark to the correct cylinders.
This thing will cause a host of problems and is the first thing that I change. I have had 2 week old ones screw up too. It sucks to do the job twice.

as said above..these are all pretty cheap fixes if they are your problem..BUT.. i would start with the 02 sensor cus thats what it sounds like..make sure your 02 sensors are AC DELCO ONLY! if you put bosch in there you WILL have problems...if that isnt it try the TPS and the coil housing + boots

Could this be a IAC problem as well?

first of all, i want to thank all of you for responding with your suggestions. i find this forum to be a wealth of GREAT and knowledgeable people. as it turns out, it was the simplest of things. in the process of checking the tps, i found the culprit to be an extremely crusty and broken map sensor hose. new hose, and viola, problem solved. again i want to thank all for responding with great suggestions.
