Does any one know for sure why my cav cluster wont work with a gam gt engine swap. It is wired correctly. All other guages work just fine. If I have the pcm flashed to either a malibu or an Impala it works just fine. Thats not an option though, because the engine/ tranny that i used is Gam gt only . The 3.4 isnt offered in a malibu and the 4t45e is only offered in a gam and alero.

What im trying to figure out is why I can get a fuel level output voltage through my scanner but the cluster isnt recognizing it? I dont believe it goes through the BCM at all since there is no reading in the scanner for fuel level in there, just in the PCM. The PCM is where the sending unit is wired to also. Does any one know if it is a digital / Analog signal difference problem here?
