will a z24 cluster go into my 2.2 one?? is it just bolt and go? Thanks for the help
It's a direct replacement. And the tach will work.
You'll have to do the Passkey relearn though. Not hard. (at least I think you still have to on the 95's)
I had a 95 that I installed a remote start and It didnt have the pass lock security. Im thinking that 95 had a couple of things that just 95's had. That would be one of them. The other I believe is that they are the only third gen with resettable air bag systems. 96 went to the non resettable under the pass seat. They were good for the plastic covers breaking on the side of the seats too.
Im not sure about the tach.
