What is needed to swap a 2.3 HO into a 2.3 LO car. I have a 95 Cav with Manual trans Z24. What are good doner cars and years?
start looking at 89-94 beretta GTZ's oldsmobile achieva's and calais' , and grand am GT's.....they were all manual tranny cars and all have an "A" for the 8th letter of their VIN...all youll need to do the swap is the whole motor WITH powersteering pump....but you also have other options to mod your car..you can bolt up a 92-94 getrag 5speed that came with the HO engine and get better gear ratio(not to mention a stronger tranny) and you can also chip your pcm( which i highly recommend if you do the swap)
