I'm looking at getting a rebuilt head for my 2.4. The guy I'm thinking about buying from is asking for the casting number. does anyone have one for the 2002 LD9? Is it the same as the 2000 and 2001 LD9?

Erk, I have this at home. 96-98 is the same, and 99-02 is the same. But they are different from each other. Slightly different... but apparently they'll still work.

that's what I figured, but I'd like to know the casting numbers to make sure I get the right ummm... head.


the guy says he's using recycled springs, lifters and valves. is that okay as long as they are thoroughly inspected?

thanks John. I'm still looking for numbers for the '03 2 dr LS Sport side skirts. I have just about everything else.
