ive decided to put a 2.4 into my 97 sunfire. it currently has the 2.2 ohv and a 5spd, and i was wanting to know if i can use my current 5 spd, or if i have to change out the trannys? any other info on this swap would be very helpful.

you need a 2.3/2.4 tranny
