Ok i have a 04 Cavalier and when i removed my white face gauge layover i moved the needles and cant get them back to where they are suppose to be. what am i doing wrong. I filled the car up with gas and let it warm up all the way so i knew where the needles were suppose to go but when i move them there and turn the key off and then on again they go lower than where i put them. if anyone could give me some tips or a procedure it would be great. thanks for your help

Take the needles off again, let the cluster reset to normal, then re-install them pointing to the right places.

i never took the needles of the first time. it just said to turn them because they are electronic. so if i need to take the needles off how do i do that. Thanks for your help
