I have a 2002 Cavalier w/ a 2200 engine. There is some antifreeze leaking into my oil, which leads me to believe that either my cylinder wall is cracked or my head gasket is shot. Now, here is the quesion. I have an aftermarket intake, header and exhaust. I am at the dealership now, untill they diagnose the problem they are unable to tell me if my warrenty is voided. From persons past experience, having these performance mods, will that void my warranty?

unless they can prove that those parts caused the failure then they have to honor the warranty

Can you see a reason why it would have been caused?

No but I know how dealers operate. They can if they choose to, void your warranty because you did something to your car.
- 2004 Cavalier - 124k, owned since new
Update:
Well, I just got back from the dealship, they tested my car under diagnostics. (preasure test, letting my car run for 20 minutes) they couldnt find anything. So they took it out on the road, and still couldnt find anything.
I suggested that I get a new thermostate, which they said would keep the heat down, since the car was overheating from time to time. So, that will be covered under my extended warranty. Also, I told them about the blower speeds (how the lower ones wouldnt work) they will also honor that under warrenty. Turns out that the "antifreeze in the oil dipstick was just some condensation, because it didnt taste sweet. So it wasnt a horriable waste of time. It will only cost me 50bucks because of the deductable.
