ok i have some issues with my car that need to get fixed. First of all my drivers side power mirror doesnt work. i stopped into my mechanic today and they said you have to replace the entire mirror and motor...they cant just get the part for the motor. It wasnt bad of a price $84 for and entire new mirror and motor. is this true?

also when i first bought my car under a year ago, i had the car looked at and it sounds like there maybe a couple holes in the exhaust piping. i called a local muffler shop to get a quote on a new stainless steel exhaust system and i was told that the car should have come with a stainless steel exhaust system from the factory. i was just wondering if the 1999 z24 did come stainless steel?

84.00 isnt too bad from a stop to do all the work but id do it myself for about 30-50.00 on ebay. Its only 3 10m bolts and a wiring harness to take off the old mirror.

well $84 is for just the part. thats the cheapest you can get it, its a factory only part.sure you may be able to get it on ebay and have it in a week. but i was mainly wondering if its true that you have to change out the entire mirror to fix the motor.
