DRL idiot light flashs

alright all my DRL light in my cluster will not stop flashing unless i turn on the headlights. What could be causing this can i just disconnect it or fix it? either will do

Burned out headlight bulb... the DRL's use a duel filiments bulb. One filliment for the DRL, the other for your low beam.

If the DRL filliment is burned out, that will cause the DRL light to flash

^^ close... but it should read as the following:

The DRL's operate the high beam filament at a reduced wattage. If one of your high beams is blown, the DRL indicator may flash. I'm assuming that it is on your 1999 Cavi, which uses a 2 bulb setup for each side (one for low beam, one for high)

Another possibility is that the relay is going bad... if that is the case, just do the DRL disable (see the FAQ).

none of my headlights are burned out. i grabbed 3 relays from the junkyard today. all 3 do the same thing just flash

It's telling you to disable them.

theres a relay, in the cluster i think...may need a new one of those. try that.
