Well the swap is done yay!!!
Well I can't tell if its in the transmission ( I think) or maybe in the drive shafts?
Well what happens is, it seems like It never down shifts. I have to basically shift it by myself, and I shouldn't have to do that with an auto.
When I drive it regularly, there is no power what so ever, it seems like it might be shifting way to soon, maybe?
Well any ideas on what may be wrong or what I can do to fix this would be greatly appricated.
thanks in advance
Check the detent / tranny kick down cable. I bet you forgot to hook it back up to the throttle body.
Semper Fi SAINT. May you rest in peace.

Check the PCM, or ECM or whatever u wana call it.
The one on the passanger strut tower.
Get a new one, swap it in there, relearn it, try it out.
Thats what I would try anyways but listen to some of these other people maybe first.

do you have any check engine lights?
did you do the pass lock relearn on the new ecu?
Ha, the yard i got the motor from ripped off the tps, all is working fine now, thanks for all the help anyways.
dude, is that lindsay lohan in your sig??
RIP Saint ........ JBO
You didn't have a TPS hooked up? Was the car pulling very hard? I would expect that having no TPS would make it pretty sluggish.
Also, wasn't the check engine light on?
Actually having the TPS not in made me chirp gears in my auto when i shifted by myslef, kinf of weird eh? but it was sluggish as a motha when it used its brains and shifted by itself. and yes the cel was on but, to me it was just another light besides, service engine (out of stock bulbs), and the 3 lights for not changing the ecu for the new motor (brakes, trak off,and abs)
and eazy that is my girl friend, it may be LL and it may not be...lol
