i was looking for a different dash for my 94 cav and cant find one with more than a temp gauge... so i was going to take the one out of my parts car witch is a 95 but the plugs are different so i was going to cut the wires and use the wiring diagram to wire the plug from the 95 into the 94. almost all the wires are the same looking at the 2 diagrams it almost looks like it would work. any ideas?

why not just swap in a 2nd gen z24 instrument panel? or are you looking to actually change the whole dash?

I Agree with chad either that or would a cluster from a 3rd gen. J work because i know a lot of the 3rd gen J's have tach clusters. Now if your looking to change the entire dash obviously that's going to be slightly more work and possibly more time consuming as well .
