The alternator should be held on by two bolts. Take them out take ff the bracket I think it three bolts, and the dipstick is one bolt where the o2 sensor plug in is . It's pretty simple once you look under the hood.

How much are they charging you? I went to a place today, they wanted to charge me $280, for header, cat, and mounts.

If you have a OHV, the dipstick doesnt have to be removed it just be easier. Neither does the alternator. Just unbolt it take the belt of and hold it back while someone slips the header on.

they wanted 110, but the mechanic got sick, and they had to move me to the 13th which i cant do, ill have to find another shop. Dude hold the belt tho, i could barely get the alternator lined back up with the mounting threads from just loostening and takeing out the bolts without actually taking it off. And the belt needs me to losen the tensioner, how do i do that without the tool.

On the OHV, i loosened the tensioner with a pinchbar that i stuck down on an angle and pressed the tensioner down and my brother took off the belt, be careful tho, as doing this with any object may result in the thing slipping off and springing up, and possibly ripping fingers off, i came close >.>
