Right now my radiator has a small leak and I'm topping off everytime I need to temporarily until a get a new one. The problem is I always have a hard time taking the cap off. It never wants to loosen all the way, I always have the pry the cap off. Is there a certain way to take the cap off or what or is something wrong?? I don't understand, thanks.

It's a commen problem with that cap, is the top of the cap comming off and the bottom still stuck on the coolant res. if so it happens...

The caps have a problem where they come apart. I found that the dealer is actually cheaper than Autozone. And the cap is exactly the same from both places (same manufactuar). I got mine from autozone for $11. Dealer price is $12

buy a new cap?? lol like 5.00
