I've got all the receipts with the part numbers around my garage somewhere, but I'm not sure where at the moment. I've been puting in 70 hour weeks at work lately, so I haven't had much time/energy. I'll post up some part numbers when I get around to it, but I will tell you that most of the parts come from a 95 Grand Am with a 3100. If you have any specific questions shoot me an email. I haven't been on here much lately.

I'm using a 95 F-body computer, because my car is OBD I, and the computer I got is from a 3.4L Camaro with a 5-speed.

You can probably use any of those three, as long as they are ODB II.

Are you doing this with a manual trans or automatic trans? If you are going with a manual, you will have to send the computer out to be reflashed for the manual tranny.

Ok, I got a question now is it better to get a stock 3400 engine wire harness or make your own engine wire harness either way you look at is that you would have to still cut up the 3400 engine wire harness to make it work in the 3rd gen so I was thinking about making my own but I dont know what all sensors I would need for it.

I've finally got the engine, and work is beginning. I believe I asked this question a couple of months back, but , as you can see....the thread is damn long now and for some reason the search isn't showing it.

Anyway. I know I need the ECU from the 3400. Do I also need to get a PCM and BCM from it? I think I can use the BCM from the cavy, right? I have found a PCM upgrade and wonder how it would work.

Digital Horsepower PCM
What do you guys think?

Mr. Goodwrench put this site up a long time ago when he was only knee deep into this swap
There are a lot of good pictures that should help you understand the swap a little more.

Robert made this diagram. I shall re-post it, for all who need a lower engine mount.
