Did any of the Cavy Sedans get sunroofs? Ive heard mixed comments just need a straight answer.
nope , not from GM
dealer could get them done aftermarket
no never. but i had a 99 cavalier sedan with an aftermarket sunroof in it. it worked well and never leaked. the first owner put it in on lease so its been in the car for like 7 years now. it was nice to have no one around here had a sunroof in there sedan and a base model at that. IMO its worth the money.
let me know if you have any questions about it.
P.S. i know the company that did the roof in my sedan ill look them up if you need the number

have any idea how much it would run? is it a power sunroof?
i saw a sedan a few summers ago for sale with a power sunroof, i thought it was kinda cool considering the car was a LS so it had PW/PDL and the 2.4!!!!
also i have a picture of the Z24 sedan before it came out from along time ago and it shows a power sunroof, the wright up said it would have a power sunroof.. but that clearly didnt happen, it was from an old motor trend i think... i have that pic up on my wall by far the nicest looking Z24 sedan i've seen.

structurally they're not 100% on the sedans when you throw on a sunroof, you cut up the main support of the vehicle. Personally IMO, i would never do it, but thats just me.
i'm happy my cavy came with a power sliding glass sunroof

When I owned my 95 Sedan, I was looking into getting an aftermarket sunroof put on. I found a place in California that would do it and also stated it would look and operate just like the ones on the Z. Unfortunately, I moved before I got it put on. There are companies out there that do have the ones that look like the Z. I would get one of those before I would go with anything else.
