will a intake from a 98 2.2 cavalier fit my 96 2.2 cavalier
I live my life a quarter pounder at a time. And For that 11 sec or less it takes me to devour one I am free.
the 2200 intake is a bit longer due to the tb being behind the engine, so you might have to cut a few inchs off.
alrite this all depends on the intake. your 96 has the 2.2l where as the 98 has the 2200. the only difference that involves the intake is that on the 2.2l the throttlebody is mounted on the top of the engine pointing forward where as on the 2200 the throttlebody is mounted behind the engine pointing upwards. now depending on the intake there may or may not need any modifying. first check to see if the intake in question goes all the way to the throttle body. if it doesn't it may not work (may be too short). if it is made to go to the throttle body then one of two things will happen. if it's like my weapon r intake the 90 degree bend to go down to the throttle body is a seperate piece. just take it off and you're done. if it's all one piece, you will need to cut the intake down to fit.
