does anyone know approximate 0-60 and quartermile times for a 2001 z24 2.4 i just wanted 2 know my car is all stock
around 7.7 sec, give or take some tenths depending on transmission,
what about a 2004 2.2 manual trans?
Best Time 15.917 at 86.86MPH
Looked on teh intraweb:
0-60, quarter mile times
1983 Chevrolet Cavalier 13.1 19.1
1983 Chevrolet Cavalier CL Type-10 12.3 18.6
1985 Chevrolet Cavalier Z24 9.5 16.9
1986 Chevrolet Cavalier Z24 8.5 16.7
1993 Chevrolet Cavalier Z24 8.3 17.3
1995 Chevrolet Cavalier LS 10.9 18.0
1996 Chevrolet Cavalier LS 8.3 16.1
1998 Chevrolet Cavalier Z24 Conv. 8.7 16.8 (C&D Aug 98)
7.7secs was recorded in 1996 or 97 by R&T for Z24 coupe.
I would guess that 7.4-5 sec would be for the 2000-02 because of the lower weight through out the years and better Getrag gearing.

forgot to mention that my best 1/4 mile time stock was 16 seconds flat. corrected altitude of less than 200 feet. no spare tire, jack, passanger seat, rear seat.
