i dont really know what your problem is but im warning you DONT get the damn tps from autozone or advance....get one from the dealership....the new ones are CRAP..i went thru 2 everymonth till i went and got a acdelco one from chevy

funny....i had same thing. we swapped the whole throttle body out and it was alright. turns out there is a set screw that will adjust the position. however, GM has created its own special little screw and driver so that no one can adjust it. it would take a five-pointed, hollowed out drive tip.
so, we ground down the tip a little big where the screw bottom makes contact. we got it to an imperfect 1%, but it's much better. i didn't want to keep grinding in case we went too far.
since i'm on the subject, my throttle started to stick immediately afterwards. possible coincidence? we removed the throttle body again and took a closer look. the flap had actually worn a bit of a groove into the body wall and would stick a little. once unstuck, works fine. i'm just hoping it improves. we'll see....it's only been a week.
so, if you want to spare the manual labor and guess work, take it to a dealer, tell them exactly what to do, and make sure you're aware that it should only take them .6 hrs at the most!

you could always cut a slot in the screw head and use a flat head. if its in a place you can reach it to do that.
It turns really hard. It seems to have some blue locktite quality lock on it. i managed to get on the threaded side with a vise grips and screw it out and install a new one with a allen head. I needed to raise the idle when we did the auto to manual swap.
TPS voltage should be about 0.5V when closed. It is a 0-5volt variable sensor. 5 V being WOT.

I think this guys problem is the throttle plate sticking. The scre to adjust idle, well you can raise idle with it, but normally you can not lower it. the IAC sensor controls idle. The TPS does not really control idle. Not saying the car will idle fine without it, because it will not. Just saying the purpose of the TPS is not for idle purposes.
i replaced both sensor (IAC and TPS) from my car reset fault and disconected battery makes nor difference ,i noticed if i remover the tps i can make it goto 0% if its off the throtle body i think im gona try the whole T/B with all on it next .thanx for your help

just notch out the screw holes in the sensor and cut off the nub that holds it in place. Now you can turn the sensor until you get 0% throttle.
I've seen this problem before. It is a sticking throttle body blade

That's exactly what I had to do when I installed my 57mm throttle body, car runs like crap when the tps doesn't read 0% when closed.

Ok. Think about it. If the blade is sticking open and you adjust the TPS to read 0%, the car is gonna still be sucking in the same amount of air, but the fuel will be less. There is a thing called air fuel ratio and it needs to be within spec so you don't tear the engine up. You may up setting codes. Just go to the yard and get a TB. Take it homw and clean it out real good with some parts cleaner. Then install it with a new gasket. This should solve your problem.
thanks yall for your help i did clean the t/b the plates arent sticking ,like i said before i replace both iac and tps ,reset faults ,disconected battery ,problem so far is gone next will be get another t/b from somewhere else possibly a rsm one like mine. thanks again
