I'm thinking on maybe updating my J with a newer one. I really like the new Cavy but after reading some reviews on it and on the sunfire I found out that the 5 speed manual transmission is kinda well..ugly.What car is a better bet for a "tuner", the cavy or sunfire?

As far as looks, there are more products for cavaliers than sunfires cause cavaliers are more popular than the sunfires.

As far as peformance, it's the same thing if it's the same year. If you want a new car, you'll get an ECOTEC with an option of an 4-speed auto or a 5-speed manual.

It's really your choice..to each is own.

as far as trannys go, the 00 and newer are stronger, IE not the issuzu's
