Alignment problems?
Thursday, November 10, 2005 12:13 AM
I have been trying to figure out why my car's axles keep clicking when ever i make a turn. I have already replaced the axles once and they still click. My car is lowered but only lowered 1.5 inches. My question is do you think an alignment will make the clicking go away, or do i have to get new axles again? and where can i get new axles for a 2002 other than the dealer. no one else has them.

i think its the springs when my friend lowered his car the springs always made noise when steering.

The clicking noise i have is while im driving through the turn. Ive already changed the strut mount.

I'm not aware of any suspension problems that cause ticks (not that they don't exist, I just don't know what it could be). Sure it's not more of a popping noise, clunk, thud, etc. Is it a fast click, varies with speed, slow click. Does it click while turning, or during the turn? Have you had an alignment since it was lowered? What struts do you have?

It is like a clunking noise while i am in the turn and it does vary with speed. i could describe the noise as a rock rock being hit on cement over and over while im going through the turn. Since i got the car lowered i never got an alignment simply because my car didn't seem like it needed it. it didn't have any pull while driving. I have KYB AGX struts.
