I got stock struts right now on Canuck Motorsports springs.. 1.7 drop.. but it looks like 1.5 after 3 months. Acctaully its 1.5, i measured it.
anyways, the ride right now is horrible. i hear every bump and is bouncy as hell..
I am thinking of getting agx, NOW, i want to be 100% sure i want these before get it. cause i dont wanna get pissed off again ehehe
will these ride like a stock set up? i am in the process of sound deadening my whole car so i would like to eliminate a lot of road sound.
any help would be great..
I know agx is warrantied up to 1.5 but i think i will be safe with my drop .. just wondering about the quality of the ride ..
I also found them on ebay for 335 + 23 shipping.. anyone know any cheaper place?
your stock struts are probably blown. stock struts cant handle any type of drop. agx will work w/ them but their limit is 1.5" before voiding warrenty. you could also have bad strut mounts too
You have blown struts. Mounts are probably bad too. AGX will not handle those springs, you need Koni's or Tokico D-Specs.
Just because you're 1.5" lower does not mean the AGXs will hold up, the spring rate it too high and that's what really matters.
A good set of tires makes worlds of differnce in how much road noise you hear too.
eBay is usually the cheapest, or within $10.
i heard alot of people riding on agx with drops of 1.7 and stuff without problems...
also the noise is coming from the side where i replaced the Mount.. i only replaced 1 mount and thats the one thats the noise is coming from.. the old mounts make no noise

Its up to you if you want to risk it. AGX's are warrintied to a 1.5" drop. They are not stiff enough to work with the Canuk springs properly. Your ride will seem bouncy even though you have the firmness all the way up.
Your best bet is Koni or Tokico D-Spec
