Can you use 99 mounts on Stock 00 Springs?

I purchased the new mounts... But they seem to big to fit back into the spring... I own a 2000 Cavalier with stock springs. Do i need 2000 mounts?

If you mean you purchased the 95-99 mounts then you also need the 95-99 style spring seat which I believe is about $5. And since you will have them apart pick up some new spring isolators too.

So right now all i have is the Strut Mount.

The problem is the bottom part of the mount won't fit in the spring itself. So your saying I need a 99 spring seat in between the mount and the spring?

Yes if you bought 95-99 mounts, no if they are 2000+
