Would KYB warranty the agx struts when used with H&R springs (1.6front 1.4rear)? Also, if one were to blow, what is the process for getting a new one and how would they even know what springs you were using?
Also, does anyone have this current set up? If so, how do you like it? Is bumpy city driving ok?
Lastly, what is the best setting to have the AGX on when first installing the set up?
Thanks!
agx is warrentied up to a 1.5" drop so after the springs settle i would say no
I know 1.5 is what they say but I don't think .1 is really going to hurt it but, they still would not cover it. I would like to get some more info on this aswell because this is the setup I want to run.

Whats the chance that they would even blow when only dropped 1.6 max?
That setup should be fine. Also your AGX's are only warantied for a year.

IN the FAQ it says they are lifetime warrenty. I know one of the autocross guys on here runs the hr and agx combo, maybe he will chime in.
They may never blow at 1.6"s but if they do, they are not covered, thats all I was saying.

^^ I was just about to get the pro kit, then I found a pair of H&R's for $100 so I could not pass that offer up.
used only 4000 miles with no sag at all
well it is only .1" difference but it should be fine because your not abusing it. just remember over time springs settle so it may end up going past the .1" over point.
H&R guarantees the springs not to settle. In the documentation from KYB it says they have a 1 year warranty but they have changed them to a life time warranty (which can be found on their website).
I doubt KYB would consider the 1.6" abuse. My combo has taken some SERIOUS abuse and they have held up fine (read: unsanctioned rally events

). You guys should be fine with H&R's and AGX's, especially if all you do is drive on the street.
I don't plan on auto x at all. 95% would be street and the other 5% would be drag racing. I am just looking forward to having some fun on backroads.

Agreed, if you don't
give them a good reason to void the warranty, they'll honor it.

reads.... no hill jumping.....
Basically if you send them your shocks they can take em apart and find out how much piston travel the shock had based on wear, and also if they ever bottomed out, or constantly bottomed out.
thats all internal stuff they can check, to deduce if there was infact abuse. I don't think you'd have to worry unless you were constantly sending them in wanting replacements.
I say we should all just get Super Streets or Gravana's and be done with it

So I'm guessing using KYB AGX's with Goldlines would not be a good idea or would they hold up. I don not street race, rally race or drag race, just basically everyday driving. Would the AGX's hold up with Goldlines in this situation?
I would only use koni's with goldlines.

I used AGX's with Goldlines for about 9 months. I wouldn't recommend it.
