I will kill air ride tech.

Ok so i got that air ride tech kit. The kid gave me 3/8 fittings that looked like they're from home depot. When i installed it and got it all up and running, i turned the first corner and one of the front struts blew. The fitting attatched to it broke, tried a new one 4 times, same thing. So any of you guys, did you have to get your fittings from air ride tech for them to have enough clearance to work or what? The fitting is set towards the front of the car, instead of facing you when you're in front of the tire (sorry kind of a shotty description). Do any of you have 3/8 on your air ride tech? Did you get them from them? Or from home depot or something?

yea im w/ him on this one. are they metal fittings? im assuming w/ the money your spending they better be metal fittings. what are you talking about 3/8" fitting. there are alot of fittings on air ride kits. your getting things mixed up. your strut didnt blow, your fitting broke. your talking about the fitting that plugs directly into the bag right?

Exactly the fitting that fits right into the bag. It keeps breaking in the threading...

is it just a 3/8" fitting with a line lock end on it?

these might work for you.

not to sound ignorant, but which of those two dimensions is the tube?

it tells you right at the end. depending on what air line your running you want 3/8" mnpt (fitting size) x 3/8" tube (size of the line)

now depending on what size the line is will determine which you buy. they only sell 2 3/8" fittings with different line sizes. 1 for a 3/8" line and 1 for 1/2" line

what do you need pics of? i can snap a few pics of the inside of my wheel well. i though i had pics on my cardomain page but i only have pics of the rear struts before i installed them. if you wanna check out queen z's carodmain page, she has some good shots of her front struts installed.
